Common use of Trimming Clause in Contracts

Trimming. The Contractor shall trim grass around trees, shrubs, cultivated areas, sprinkler heads, valves, fences, buildings, poles, and structures, so that grass height does not exceed the height of the adjacent grass. (a) All areas where lawns are cut onto curbs and footpath will be trimmed to a line running down the back edge of the curb of the foot path. No encroachment will be allowed. Edging must be done using appropriate tools (Edge trimmers, no machete). These will apply to all lawns, sidewalks, drive ways and curbs.
