Common use of Trustee to Sign Supplemental Indentures Clause in Contracts

Trustee to Sign Supplemental Indentures. The Trustee shall sign any supplemental indenture authorized pursuant to this Article Eight if the amendment contained therein does not, in the good faith opinion of the Trustee, adversely affect the rights, duties, liabilities, protections, privileges, indemnities or immunities of the Trustee. If it does, the Trustee may, but need not, sign such supplemental indenture. In signing such supplemental indenture the Trustee shall be entitled to receive, and (subject to the provisions of Section 6.01) shall be fully protected in relying upon, an Officers' Certificate and an Opinion of Counsel stating that such amendment is authorized or permitted by this Indenture and complies with the TIA.
