Common use of Type II Clause in Contracts

Type II. The Government will provide and maintain all JTCTS-unique internal and external equipment required to perform these missions. The contractor shall maintain all interface wiring. As this requirement matures, the contractor may be required to work with the Government to integrate this equipment into its aircraft, including STCs if required, at Government expense. Preliminary/prototype equipment may be provided during the first contract year, with production equipment provided during the first option year.
