Type of Award Clause Samples
The 'Type of Award' clause defines the specific form or method by which a contract or grant is issued, such as fixed-price, cost-reimbursement, or time-and-materials. This clause clarifies the payment structure, deliverable expectations, and the allocation of financial risk between the parties. By specifying the award type, it ensures both parties understand their obligations and the mechanisms for compensation, thereby reducing ambiguity and potential disputes over contract performance and payment.
