Common use of Type of Records Clause in Contracts

Type of Records. A Party (in this clause 8 called the “Recording Party”) must maintain such records, data and other information as the other Party may from time to time by written notice in reasonable detail to the Recording Party reasonably require for the purpose of this Agreement or as may otherwise be reasonably necessary to enable the Parties to comply promptly and fully with obligations under this Agreement. Form and Retention The records referred to in clause 8.1 must be maintained in either written or electronic form. The Recording Party must maintain these records for so long as required by law or longer as otherwise agreed between the Parties.
