Type Tests. Type tests shall be conducted at Contractor’s or Subcontractors’ sites, unless another site is previously approved in writing by Authority. Contractor shall provide type test certificates certifying that Contractor followed the procedures reviewed and responded to by Authority as part of its review of the Testing and Commissioning Program.

The type test certificates shall be provided before the production equipment is shipped, and detailed test reports submitted before the equipment will be allowed to enter the Test Track. In addition, Authority may, at its sole discretion, perform a FACI of the first or second production unit of each major system or subsystem.
