TYPES AND DEFINITIONS OF LEAVES OF ABSENCE. Employees may request a leave of absence by presenting a written request to their immediate supervisor along with any supporting documentation. The decision to grant a leave of absence for military service, jury duty, family medical leave and parental leave will be as provided by state or federal law and according to the policies of the Employer. Leaves of absence shall not be considered a break in service. Employees on leave shall retain their seniority.
