(1) Assistance to private individuals and entities, including profit making and nonprofit organizations, to acquire for the purpose of rehabilitation, and to rehabilitate properties, for use or resale for residential purposes; (2) Labor, materials, and other costs of rehabilitation of properties, including repair directed toward an accumulation of deferred maintenance, replacement of principal fixtures and components of existing structures, installation of security devices, including smoke detectors and dead bolt locks, and renovation through alterations, additions to, or enhancement of existing structures and improvements, abatement of asbestos hazards (and other contaminants) in buildings and improvements that may be undertaken singly, or in combination; (3) Loans for refinancing existing indebtedness secured by a property being rehabilitated with CDBG funds if such financing is determined by the recipient to be necessary or appropriate to achieve the locality's community development objectives; (4) Improvements to increase the efficient use of energy in structures through such means as installation of storm windows and doors, siding, wall and attic insulation, and conversion, modification, or replacement of heating and cooling equipment, including the use of solar energy equipment; (5) Improvements to increase the efficient use of water through such means as water savings faucets and shower heads and repair of water leaks; (6) Connection of residential structures to water distribution lines or local sewer collection lines; (7) For rehabilitation carried out with CDBG funds, costs of: (i) Initial homeowner warranty premiums; (ii) Hazard insurance premiums, except where assistance is provided in the form of a grant; and (iii) Flood insurance premiums for properties covered by the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973, pursuant to § 570.605. (8) Costs of acquiring tools to be lent to owners, tenants, and others who will use such tools to carry out rehabilitation; (9) Rehabilitation services, such as rehabilitation counseling, energy audit...

Vulnerability assessments are pre-emptive examinations of a party’s physical and electronic safeguards in place protecting the party’s information system or network. Cyber incident response is assistance provided following a cyber-attack or intrusion on a party’s information system or network. AZNG- CJTF assistance does not include implementing any cyber security recommendation it or its personnel make, nor does it include directly thwarting or eliminating any ongoing cyber incident. Types of assistance. Payments for KinGAP assistance on behalf of this child have been determined by a mutual agreement between the relative custodian(s) or successor guardian(s) and the local department, as documented in this section.
Types of assistance. 1. Assistance may be provided by individual experts, by emergency teams, in the form of emergency aid supplies, or in any other manner. 2. The emergency teams, individual experts, equipment and emergency aid sup- plies may be transported by land, air or water.
Types of assistance. An applicant may submit an application either for financial assistance (‘‘FA’’) only or for FA and a ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇, under this NOFA. Eligible types of ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ uses include, but are not limited to, the following: (1) Acquiring consulting services; (2) Paying staff salary for the limited purposes of completing tasks and/or fulfilling functions that are otherwise eligible ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ uses under this NOFA (use of TA for this purpose is limited to applicants with total assets not exceeding $5 million as of December 31, 2002); (3) Acquiring/enhancing technology items; and (4) Acquiring training for staff or management. The Fund will not consider requests for TA grants under this NOFA for expenses that, in the determination of the Fund, are deemed to be ongoing operating expenses rather than non- recurring expenses. The Fund will consider requests for use of TA to pay for staff salary only when the applicant demonstrates, to the Fund’s satisfaction, that: (i) The staff salary relates directly to building the applicant’s capacity to serve its target market; (ii) The proposed staff time to be paid for by the ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ will be used for a non-recurring activity that will build the applicant’s capacity to achieve its objectives as set forth in its Comprehensive Business Plan; (iii) The proposed capacity-building activity would otherwise be contracted to a consultant or not be undertaken; and (iv) The staff person assigned to the proposed task has the competence to successfully complete the activity. Types of assistance. Any Party to this Agreement may request aid of another Party or Parties for the purpose of assisting in controlling or combating a disaster, whether human caused or naturally occurring, in accordance with the Rio ▇▇▇▇▇▇ County Emergency Operations Plan, which plan shall indicate certain procedures of an operational or administrative nature. As an administrative function, the Parties to this Agreement may revise Rio ▇▇▇▇▇▇ County Emergency Operations Plan as needs or requirements may dictate, as determined by the Parties by majority written consent. Proposed revisions to the Rio ▇▇▇▇▇▇ County Emergency Operation Plan shall first be distributed to the Parties. When written objections are not received from any Party after 30 days, consent shall be deemed to have been received. Any Party aggrieved by revisions to the Rio ▇▇▇▇▇▇ County Emergency Operation Plan may terminate as provided in Section 2.2. Assistance may be requested by any Party, without limitation to the type of disaster, whether for law enforcement, fire, emergency medical, public health, public works or other catastrophe.
