Unauthorized Use of Your Card or Account Sample Clauses

The "Unauthorized Use of Your Card or Account" clause defines the procedures and responsibilities related to transactions made without the account holder's permission. It typically outlines how customers should report lost or stolen cards, the timeframe for reporting unauthorized activity, and the extent of liability for fraudulent charges. This clause serves to protect both the cardholder and the issuer by establishing clear steps for addressing unauthorized use and limiting the cardholder’s financial responsibility when prompt notice is given.
