Common use of Unclaimed Baggage Clause in Contracts

Unclaimed Baggage. Baggage that has not been claimed by its owner or an authorized representative on his or her behalf (or for which the owner has not presented a claim) once all procedures required by applicable legislation have been performed, for a period set forth in regulations or otherwise fifteen (15) days as of the date of completion of the flight on which it was checked and/or when it was found by the airline, shall be considered abandoned, releasing THE CARRIER from responsibility, and entitling it to dispose of said ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, deliver it to the Authorities or donate it.
