Underfrequency Load Shedding. The objective of the Underfrequency Load Shedding (UFLS) program is to provide security and protection to the interconnected bulk power network by arresting frequency decay during periods of insufficient resources This plan establishes Underfrequency Load Shedding objectives consistent with the load shedding policies of the Western Systems Coordinating Council, the North American Electric Reliability Council and the UDC. The UDC’s load shedding program will be in accordance with the WSCC Off-nominal Frequency Report requirements. The information to be contained in this Schedule may be subject to additional filing due to subsequent revisions as these may be required from time to time.
