Common use of Understanding of the Parties Clause in Contracts

Understanding of the Parties. For all Bristol Community College Associate in Science graduates admitted to Saint ▇▇▇ University during the term of this agreement, Saint ▇▇▇ University will: a. Accept the students as having junior standing, with the understanding that students may need to complete certain general education courses and prerequisite courses for the program in which they enroll. b. Accept maximum hours transferred (64 semester hours); minimum hours in major with SLU (15 semester hours); minimum residence requirement with SLU (30 semester hours); total hours needed to graduate from SLU (minimum 120 semester hours). c. Accept coursework as transferable to Saint ▇▇▇ University on a course by course basis as applied to meet general education and electives degree requirements. d. Accept transfer credit for courses in which a “D” grade was given.
