Unexcused Failure to Pay. If within ten (10) days after the date established herein for COUNTY’s payment to CONTRACTOR, without cause or basis hereunder, fails to pay CONTRACTOR any amount then due and payable to CONTRACTOR, then CONTRACTOR may after seven (7) additional days written notice to COUNTY and the Architect and/or Engineer, and without prejudice to any other available rights or remedies it may have, stop the Work until payment of those amounts due from COUNTY have been received.
