Common use of Uniform Replacement Clause in Contracts

Uniform Replacement. If the City determines the need for and requires that an employee wear a uniform, such uniform shall be provided be the City at City expense. When an employee believes that a uniform is worn beyond repair, he/she shall bring it to the attention of the City. If the City agrees, the uniform or part thereof shall be replaced at City expense. All uniforms shall at all times remain City property. Nothing in this Article or any part of the Agreement shall be construed to imply that the City does not have the sole authority to determine who is to wear uniforms.
