Common use of Union Conventions Clause in Contracts

Union Conventions. The Employer shall grant leaves of absence without pay to not more than three (3) employees to represent the Union at Union conventions, to attend Union seminars or to carry on other Union business, provided that the total leave per year to any employee shall not exceed forty-five (45) days and provided that adequate replacements are available.
