Union Days. The amount of available days for VNC related union work for easyJet union business (allocated union days) will be maximum 24 days per individual per annum. The VNC representatives shall inform easyJet of the day on which they wish to use the union time-off with a minimum 45 days’ notice prior to roster publication to prevent roster disruption. Extra Union days will normally be supported and granted when needed for: - union training, although VNC agrees to try and schedule training to the winter season - representation days for preparation and CLA talks (the number and schedule needs to be agreed with easyJet) The items above are not included in the allocated easyJet union days. Additionally, easyJet is supportive of VNC, easyJet representatives undertaking activity as part of VNC head office topics. Any membership or participation in group activities should be discussed and agreed with easyJet. This will include the provision of additional union duty days to support the activities. Once membership or participation has been agreed, additional union duty days will be granted provided sufficient notice (45 days) has been given. Time-off for union duties will be compensated with basic pay and 3.5 nominal sectors. Nominal sectors for a full union day/duty or the appropriate pro-rata amount i.e. UNN4 (half-day).
