Union Dues Deductions. 1. The Hospital agrees to deduct from the regular paycheck of staff members included in this negotiations unit, dues for the Union, provided the staff members authorize such deduction in writing in proper form to the Campus Human Resources Office. 2. Union Dues Deductions. 1A. The vacancy notice for a position covered within a bargaining unit will advise applicants that the position is included in a bargaining unit. Prior to appointment into positions included in the bargaining unit(s), the University will inform all employees, including new, layoff, transferred, promoted, or demoted employees, of the Union’s exclusive recognition and the provisions of this Article.
B. At the time of hire into a position within a bargaining unit, the Union will provide each employee a printed copy of this Agreement and membership materials. The Hospital University will inform employees in writing when they leave a position in the bargaining unit.
C. Upon final ratification and approval of this Agreement by both Parties, the Union will provide sufficient copies for the University’s distribution of the Agreement to all supervisors and managers of bargaining unit employees. The University will post the Agreement on the Human Resource Services, Labor Relations website.
D. An employee who has previously authorized payroll deduction of membership dues will continue to have such deduction made and will not be required to reauthorize such deduction.
E. The University agrees to deduct an amount equal to the membership dues from the regular paycheck salary of staff members included in this negotiations unit, dues for the Union, provided the staff members authorize employees who request such a deduction in writing in proper form to the Campus Human Resources Office.

4. The Union shall certify to the Hospital the amount of Union dues and shall notify the Hospital of any changes in dues structure F. 5. G. The Hospital shall deduct Union will provide the Union dues from a new staff member as soon as possible from the beginning date of employment in a position in this unit.
6. Staff members may withdraw authorization for dues deduction by providing a written notice to Office of Human Resources during the University thirty (30) days following each anniversary date advance notice of their employmenta change in the amount of dues.
H. Where an employee has been suspended, reduced-in-force, or was discharged and subsequently returned to work, with full or partial back pay, or has been reclassified retroactively, the University will deduct the Union membership dues that are due and owing for the period for which the Employee receives back pay. Within five (5) days The Union shall provide an accounting of receipt said dues.
I. When an employee takes Leave Without Pay or a temporary position outside of the notice from bargaining unit and subsequently returns to work or to the employee of revocation of authorization for the payroll previously held bargaining unit position, deduction of dues, University Hospital membership dues will be deducted starting with the first pay period of work. The Union shall provide notice an accounting of said dues.
J. When an employee represented by the Union moves to a position not represented by the Union, deductions on behalf of the Union will cease.
K. Deduction of an employee’s revocation of such authorization. membership dues will be applicable to any retroactive salary increase.
L. An employee’s notice of revocation of employee may revoke their authorization for payroll deduction of payments to the Union dues shall by written notice to the University. Every effort will be made to end the deduction effective on the 45th day first payroll, and not later than the second payroll after receipt of the anniversary date written notice by the University, of employmentthe confirmation from the Union that the terms of the Employee’s signed membership card regarding dues deduction revocation have been met.

The Union hereby agrees that it will indemnify and hold the Hospital University harmless against any and all liability including damages, awards, reasonable attorney fees, and court costs that may arise by reason of or result from any claims, actions or proceedings brought by any staff member in the negotiations unit which arises from deductions made by the Hospital in accordance compliance with this provision. Union Dues Deductions. 18.1 Employees who are covered under this Agreement may choose to execute a Union membership and payroll deduction form.
8.2 Upon written notification to WSU Payroll Services from the Union of an ASE’s written authorization, the University shall deduct Union dues and any initiation fees from each paycheck. The Hospital agrees University will begin dues deductions as soon as reasonably practical, but no later than the second payroll after receipt of written notification. 8.6 The Union hereby agrees that it will indemnify to indemnify, defend and hold the Hospital University harmless from any and all claims, actions, or liabilities that arise out of or by reason of actions or proceedings brought by any staff member in the negotiations unit which arises from deductions made taken by the Hospital University pursuant to this Article, including reimbursement for reasonable legal fees or expenses incurred in accordance connection with this provision. Union Dues Deductions. 1. Deductions from employees paid weekly will be made in the second and fourth pay periods of each month. The Union shall certify to the Hospital the amount of the Union dues to be deducted for each Local of the Union and shall notify the Hospital of any changes in the amount of the dues structure thirty that may from time to time occur. Such certification shall be made to the Company on or before Friday, the eighth calendar day preceding the last day of the pay period for which the allotment is to be effective. Mass changes of allotment amounts shall be submitted twenty (3020) days or more prior to the month in advance which such changes are to occur.
B. The Union agrees to notify the Company of transfers of membership of employees from one Local to another and the corresponding change in dues, if any, on or before Friday, the eighth calendar day preceding the last day of the requested date pay period for which the allotment is to be effective. Mass changes of allotment amounts shall be submitted twenty (20) days or more prior to the month in which such changes are to occur.
C. The Union agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from all claims, damages, costs, fees or charges of any kind which may arise out of or result from the honoring by the Company of dues deduction authorizations in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement, and the transmitting of such changededucted dues to the Union.
5▇. The Hospital shall deduct the Union dues from a new staff member as soon as possible from the beginning date of employment in a position in this unit.
6. Union Dues Deductions. 1The vacancy notice for a position covered within a bargaining unit will advise applicants that the position is included in a bargaining unit. Prior to appointment into positions included in the bargaining unit(s), the University will inform all employees, including new, layoff, transferred, promoted, or demoted employees, of the Union’s exclusive recognition and the provisions of this Article.
A. At the time of hire into a position within a bargaining unit, the University will provide each employee a printed copy of this Agreement and membership materials provided by the Union. The Hospital University will also provide a copy of an information sheet containing pertinent Collective Bargaining Agreement and contact information. The University will inform employees in writing when they leave a position in the bargaining unit.
B. Upon final ratification and approval of this Agreement by both Parties, the Union will provide sufficient copies for the University’s distribution of the Agreement to all supervisors and managers of bargaining unit employees. The University will post the Agreement on the Human Resource Services, Labor Relations website. The University shall distribute the Agreement to all current and new bargaining unit members. The Union shall provide the University sufficient copies of the Agreement and membership materials to fulfill its obligations in accordance with this Section and Section A above.
C. An employee who has previously authorized payroll deduction of membership dues will continue to have such deduction made and will not be required to reauthorize such deduction.
D. The University agrees to deduct an amount equal to the membership dues from the regular paycheck salary of staff members included in this negotiations unit, dues for the Union, provided the staff members authorize employees who request such a deduction in writing in proper form to the Campus Human Resources Office.

Union Dues Deductions. 1. The Hospital 7.1 COUNTY agrees to deduct from the regular paycheck wages on each pay period UNION’S membership dues upon submission of staff members included a properly executed UNION membership authorization and dues deduction document (Exhibit A) approved for use in this negotiations unit, cooperation with COUNTY. COUNTY shall commence the deduction of dues for the Union, provided the staff members authorize such deduction in writing in proper form to the Campus Human Resources Office.

47.2 Dues deduction amount shall be made in accordance with the provisions established by UNION. The Board Treasurer shall forward to the OAPSE State Treasurer the amount of the State dues, along with a new staff member as soon as possible from complete description by name and amount, for each employee. A copy of this description shall be forwarded to the beginning date of employment in a position in this unitLocal Treasurer.

Staff members The Union shall defend and indemnify the Board, the Treasurer, their Officers, Members, and Agents and Assignees in both their individual and official capacities and hold them harmless against any and all claims, demands, suits or other forms of liability, including legal fees and expenses that may withdraw authorization for dues deduction arise out of or by providing a written notice to Office of Human Resources during the thirty (30) days following each anniversary date of their employment. Union Dues Deductions. 13.1 The Board agrees to continue to honor dues deduction authorizations executed by the Unit Member in favor of the Union in accordance with provisions of the Ohio Revised Code or until such time the Member revokes such dues authorization in writing to the OAPSE State Treasurer and the Treasurer for the Board during the ten-day period prior to the expiration of this Agreement commencing June 21 through June 30.
▇. ▇▇▇▇▇ (60) days following the date of employment by the Board, Employees in the bargaining unit who are not members of the Union shall pay to the Union a fair share fee as a condition of employment with the Board. Such fair share fees shall not exceed dues paid by members of the Union who are in the bargaining unit. The Hospital Union shall notify the Board of the fair share fee amounts and of any changes in the fair share fee amounts in the same manner as notification of amounts and changes in the amounts of dues deductions. Fair share fees shall be deducted from the payroll checks of the Employees in the same manner as regular membership dues are deducted and forwarded by the Board to the Union in the same manner, except that written authorization for deduction of fair share fees is not required.
B. Union dues, and/or fair share fees, as certified annually on September 1, shall be deducted biweekly. Monthly payroll deductions of dues shall be forwarded to the OAPSE State Treasurer with a printout of each Unit Member for whom deductions have been made. The Board shall not be responsible for any dues or fee deductions after the Unit Member’s employment terminates.
C. For the purpose of this Section, Union dues are a combination of State and Local dues.
D. The foregoing provisions regarding fair share fees shall be subject to all requirements of Ohio Revised Code, Section 4117.09(C), when effective, and all other applicable laws of like subject matter.
3.2 The Board agrees to deduct from the regular paycheck wages of staff members included any employee who is a member of the Union a “PEOPLE” deduction as provided for in this negotiations unit, dues for written authorization. Such authorization must be executed by the employee and may be revoked by the employee at any time by giving written notice to both the Board and the Union, provided the staff members authorize such deduction in writing in proper form . The Board agrees to remit any deductions made pursuant to this provision promptly to the Campus Human Resources OfficeUnion together with an itemized statement showing the name of each employee from whose pay such deductions have been made and the amount deducted during the period covered by the remittance. “PEOPLE” deductions shall be sent by the Board to the Union by separate check from membership dues and/or fair share fees.
2. 3.3 The Union dues deductions from any staff member in this negotiations shall indemnify the Board, and non unit shall be members, including but not limited to the UnionBoard’s Treasurer (all hereinafter, “the duly certified majority representatives.

Staff members may withdraw authorization for dues deduction by providing a written notice to Office of Human Resources during the thirty (30) days following each anniversary date of their employment. Within five (5) days of receipt of the notice from the employee of revocation of authorization for the payroll deduction of dues, University Hospital shall provide notice to Union of an employee’s revocation of such authorization. An employee’s notice of revocation of authorization for payroll deduction of Union dues shall be effective on the 45th day after the anniversary date of employment.

The Union hereby agrees that it will indemnify and hold the Hospital harmless from any claims, actions or proceedings brought by any staff member in the negotiations unit which arises from deductions made by the Hospital in accordance with this provision. The Hospital shall not be liable to the Union for any retroactive or past due dues for any staff member who was identified by the Hospital as excluded or confidential or in good faith was mistakenly or inadvertently omitted from deduction of dues.

Mass changes of allotment amounts shall be submitted twenty (3020) days or more prior to the month in advance which such changes are to occur.
(B) The Union agrees to notify the Company of transfers of membership of employees from one Local to another and the corresponding change in dues, if any, on or before Friday, the eighth calendar day preceding the last day of the requested date pay period for which the allotment is to be effective. Mass changes of allotment amounts shall be submitted twenty (20) days or more prior to the month in which such changes are to occur.
(C) The Union agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from all claims, damages, costs, fees or charges of any kind which may arise out of or result from the honoring by the Company of dues deduction authorizations in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement, and the transmitting of such changededucted dues to the Union.

(E) Payroll deduction of dues will be handled as follows: Deduction of dues shall be effective on suspended during the 45th day after period of an employee's leave of absence. When there is insufficient pay to cover all deductions, then deductions for Union dues and deductions for allotments to the anniversary date of employmentSavings and Security Plan, respectively, shall have priority over all authorized deductions except those required by law and authorized deductions for insurance.
7(F) The Company will furnish the Union a monthly statement showing for each employee having a dues deduction authorization on file: The name, payroll number and amount of dues deducted. A list showing the employees for whom the Company has not made a dues deduction and an appropriate explanation. Provisions in this clause are further conditioned upon The City shall not resolve disputes between the Union and represented employees concerning Union Membership or deductions. The City shall direct member requests to cancel or change deductions to the Union and shall rely on information provided by the Union regarding whether deductions for a member were properly canceled or changed. The City will cease deductions at the end of the pay period following notification from the Union to the City to cease deductions, or at a later date as specified by the Union to coincide with the end of a pay period.
E. The employee’s earnings must be sufficient after all other requirements set by statutelegal and required deductions and any employee voluntary deductions are made to cover the amount of the Union Dues. When the employee’s earnings are insufficient (whether employee was in a full, partial, or unpaid status), no Union Dues will be deducted during that pay period.
F. In order to protect bargaining unit employees from harassment or invasion of privacy, the City shall promptly notify the Union of any third-party requests for contact, biographical and/or demographic information about the bargaining unit employees. Union Dues Deductions. 1A. The vacancy notice for a position covered within a bargaining unit will advise applicants that the position is included in a bargaining unit. Prior to appointment into positions included in the bargaining unit(s), the University will inform all employees, including new, layoff, transferred, promoted, or demoted employees, of the Union’s exclusive recognition and the provisions of this Article.
B. At the time of hire into a position within a bargaining unit, the Union will provide each employee a printed copy of this Agreement and membership materials. The Hospital University will inform employees in writing when they leave a position in the bargaining unit.
C. Upon final ratification and approval of this Agreement by both Parties, the Union will provide sufficient copies for the University’s distribution of the Agreement to all supervisors and managers of bargaining unit employees. D. An employee who has previously authorized payroll deduction of membership dues will continue to have such deduction made and will not be required to reauthorize such deduction.
E. The University agrees to deduct an amount equal to the membership dues from the regular paycheck salary of staff members included in this negotiations unit, dues for the Union, provided the staff members authorize employees who request such a deduction in writing in proper form to the Campus Human Resources Office.

Where an employee has been suspended, reduced-in-force, or was discharged and subsequently returned to work, with full or partial back pay, or has been reclassified retroactively, the University will deduct the Union membership dues that are due and owing for the period for which the Employee receives back pay. Within five (5) days The Union shall provide an accounting of receipt said dues.
I. When an employee takes Leave Without Pay or a temporary position outside of the notice from bargaining unit and subsequently returns to work or to the employee of revocation of authorization for the payroll previously held bargaining unit position, deduction of dues, University Hospital membership dues will be deducted starting with the first pay period of work. The Union shall provide notice an accounting of said dues.
J. When an employee represented by the Union moves to a position not represented by the Union, deductions on behalf of the Union will cease.
K. Deduction of an employee’s revocation of such authorization. membership dues will be applicable to any retroactive salary increase.
L. An employee’s notice of revocation of employee may revoke their authorization for payroll deduction of payments to the Union dues shall by written notice to the University. Every effort will be made to end the deduction effective on the 45th day first payroll, and not later than the second payroll after receipt of the anniversary date written notice by the University, of employmentthe confirmation from the Union that the terms of the Employee’s signed membership card regarding dues deduction revocation have been met.
7M. The University will remit a payment by mail or electronically for all said deductions to the Union at the Union’s Richland office, PO Box 807, Richland, WA 99352 at the end of each pay period. Accompanying the remittance will be a listing of the names, unique employee ID number, range, step, and base wage from which union dues are calculated, for the time period, and the amount remitted for all employees from whom deductions were made.
N. The Union hereby agrees that it will indemnify and hold the Hospital University harmless against any and all liability including damages, awards, reasonable attorney fees, and court costs that may arise by reason of or result from any claims, actions or proceedings brought by any staff member in the negotiations unit which arises from deductions made by the Hospital in accordance compliance with this provision. 7.1 COUNTY agrees to deduct from the regular paycheck wages on each pay period UNION’S membership dues upon submission of staff members included a properly executed UNION membership authorization and dues deduction document (Exhibit A) approved for use in this negotiations unit, cooperation with COUNTY. COUNTY shall commence the deduction of dues for the Union, provided the staff members authorize such deduction in writing in proper form to the Campus Human Resources Office.

47.2 Dues deduction amount shall be made in accordance with the provisions established by UNION. 57.3 Once UNION’s membership authorization and dues deduction document is submitted to COUNTY, COUNTY shall continue said deduction, as per the terms of this Agreement, until UNION member submits a duly signed notice to authorize either a change to the deduction (as per 7.2) or terminate said deduction. 6.
