Common use of Union Policy Grievance Clause in Contracts

Union Policy Grievance. a grievance filed by the Union based on a dispute arising out of the application, administration, interpretation or alleged violation of the collective agreement. Policy grievances shall commence at Step 2 of the grievance procedure.

Union Policy Grievance. A “Union grievance” shall be defined as a grievance filed initiated by the Union.
