Union Representative Training. 9.3.1 On being notified in writing that an Employee has been appointed as a Workplace Delegate, the Employer will allow them reasonable time in working hours, without loss of pay, to perform the tasks required to effectively represent Employees on matters arising from this Agreement, subject to operational requirements. These functions may include participation in bargaining and other consultation processes or any other representative function. 9.3.2 The Employer will provide a Workplace Delegate with access to up to five (5) days paid leave to attend workplace relations training in the first 12-month period. The Employer will provide a Workplace Delegate with up to five (5) days paid leave to attend workplace relations training in each subsequent year, provided that the granting of such leave does not unduly affect operational capacity.
