Common use of Union Right of Entry Clause in Contracts

Union Right of Entry. (a) An authorised representative or representatives of the Union shall be permitted by the Employer, upon prior notification, to enter and inspect, free of any interference, Employee work areas when such entrance or inspection is required, in the Union's opinion, in connection with any investigations or matters pertaining in any way to this Agreement, but such representatives shall not interrupt or interfere with any work in progress. (b) The ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ designated to represent the Employees on the production shall be permitted to perform Union business provided such business pertains to the current production, without loss of pay. The ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall advise the Employer's representative prior to leaving their duties.
