Union Right of Entry. 23.1 The authorised union representative shall be entitled to enter the workplaces at reasonable times, in a reasonable way and in compliance with health and safety requirements, after first obtaining the consent of the employer for purposes related to the employment of its members and/or the Union’s business. 23.2 When the union representative enters the workplace, they will advise the manager they are entering the workplace and if the manager is not present the union representative will leave written notice of the visit. 23.3 The employer recognises that it may not unreasonably deny the union representative access to a workplace. 23.4 The provisions of the Employment Relations Act 2000 shall apply where any provision or entitlement is not provided for as above.
