UNION SECURITY (Dues Deduction. 3.1 To the extent not inconsistent with the law, it shall be a condition of employment that all employees of the Employer covered by this Agreement who are members of the Union in good standing on the effective date of this Agreement shall remain members in good standing with respect to the tendering of regularly scheduled dues or fees uniformly applied. Those who are not members on the effective date of this Agreement (except for probationary employees) shall, to the extent not inconsistent with the law, on the thirtieth (30) calendar day following the effective date of this Agreement, become and remain members in good standing in the Union. The failure of any employee to become a member of the Union at the required time shall obligate the Employer, upon written notice from the Union to such effect, and providing that the Union membership was available on the same terms available to other members, to discharge such person. Further, failure of any person to maintain his/her membership in good standing as required herein shall, upon written notice to the Employer by the Union to such effect, obligate the Employer to discharge such person.

The Employer will provide the union with such information by printed or electronic format.

UNION SECURITY (Dues Deduction. 3.1 To SECTION 1 The Town shall deduct, bi-weekly, union dues and assessments from the extent earned wages of each employee in such amount as determined by the Union agency not inconsistent more than the amount of dues payable by Union members, provided that no such deduction shall be made from any employee's wage except when authorized by him on an appropriate form, a signed copy of which must be filed with the law, it Town accounting office. Such authorization shall be for the life of the Contract and shall be continued hereafter as long as a Contract exists between the Town and the Union.

3.4 SECTION 3 The Union shall indemnify the Employer agrees to indemnify, defend and hold the Employer Town harmless against any all liability fees and all claims, demands, suits and other forms of liability that costs which may arise out of, or by reason of, of any action taken or not taken for by the purpose of complying Town in compliance with any of the provisions of this Articlesection.
