Common use of UNIT MEMBER RIGHTS Clause in Contracts

UNIT MEMBER RIGHTS. The unit member shall be accorded the following rights prior to the commencement of a suspension: (a) Written notice of the proposed action; (b) The reasons for the action; (c) A copy of the charges and materials upon which the charges are based; (d) The right to respond to the charges either orally or in writing, at the unit member's discretion, to the Chancellor or his/her designee
