Unit Modification. The unit as recognized by the District may be modified by mutual agreement of the parties or in accordance with a decision rendered by the Public Employment Relations Board on a contested position.
Unit Modification. 24.1 The unit governed by this MOU has been modified to add the non-sworn, miscellaneous position of Administrative Assistant in the Police Department.
24.2 The terms and conditions of the Side Letter approved on April 22, 2014 (Exhibit D), employment applicable to the Administrative Assistant in the Police Department position will continue during this term of this MOU. THE CITY OF YUBA CITY
Unit Modification. The positions of Senior Administrative Assistant to the City Manager and City Council, Senior Administrative Assistant (in the City Manager’s Office), and Senior Administrative Assistant (in the Personnel Office) shall be designated Confidential Classification. The positions of Police Records Technician, Police Records Supervisor, Police Services Assistant, Vehicle Abatement Officer, Animal Control Officer and Police Department Senior Administrative Assistant will be represented by the POA.
Unit Modification. B. It is understood that this MOU shall constitute a bar to any petition or request for decertification of the Association as the formally recognized employee organization in the Civilian Safety unit of representation at any time prior to the expiration date of this MOU
C. In addition, no petitions for unit modification of the Civilian Safety unit will be accepted by the City without the express agreement of the Association.
D. The provisions of this Article shall not be applicable where precluded by law. The Association, its successors and assigns, shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless, the City, including its agents and employees, against any claims, suit or actions made or brought against the City, including its agents and employees, for any expenses, losses or damages incurred by the City, including its agents and employees, on account of the provisions of this article.
