Common use of Unplanned Events Clause in Contracts

Unplanned Events. 10.1. YV reserves the right to alter or vary the programme for the concert or to reschedule or cancel all or part of the concert. YV will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations that is caused by an unplanned event. 10.2. An “Unplanned Event” refers to any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties; Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack; War (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war; Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster; Failure of public or private utilities or telecommunications networks.
