Unredeemed Portions of Partially Redeemed Note Clause Samples

The "Unredeemed Portions of Partially Redeemed Note" clause defines how the remaining balance of a note is handled after a partial redemption has occurred. Typically, when only part of a note's principal is paid back, this clause specifies that the unredeemed portion continues to exist as a valid obligation, often with the same terms as the original note. For example, if a $10,000 note is partially redeemed for $4,000, the remaining $6,000 is still owed under the same conditions. This clause ensures that both parties have clarity regarding the status and enforceability of the outstanding balance, preventing disputes over what remains due after a partial payment.
