UNREQUESTED LEAVE OF ABSENCE AND SENIORITY POLICY Sample Clauses

The Unrequested Leave of Absence and Seniority Policy clause defines how an employee's seniority is affected when they are placed on a leave of absence that they did not request, such as for medical or operational reasons. Typically, this clause outlines whether the employee continues to accrue seniority during the leave and under what conditions their position or benefits are protected. Its core function is to provide clarity and fairness regarding job security and seniority status during involuntary absences, preventing disputes and ensuring consistent treatment of affected employees.
