Unsigned Checks Sample Clauses

The Unsigned Checks clause establishes the policy or consequences regarding checks that are issued without a valid signature. In practice, this clause typically states that any check lacking an authorized signature will not be honored or processed by the receiving bank or party, and may be returned to the issuer. This provision helps prevent unauthorized or fraudulent payments, ensuring that only properly authorized transactions are completed and reducing the risk of financial errors or losses.
Unsigned Checks. Checks that do not bear the drawer’s signature and are not a traveler’s check, money order, or other universal item that includes the drawer’s signature. In any event, the Bank will not review checks to match the drawer’s signature(s) and therefore all such checks with signatures will be processed, unless otherwise unprocessable, and you agree to indemnify, defend, or hold harmless the Bank, the drawee bank, and any intervening collecting bank against any claim resulting from the Bank having processed the check.
