Upgrade Costs Clause Samples

The "Upgrade Costs" clause defines which party is responsible for paying expenses related to improvements, enhancements, or updates to a product, service, or property during the contract term. Typically, this clause specifies whether the customer, service provider, or another party must cover the costs of upgrading equipment, software, or facilities, and may outline the process for approving and implementing such upgrades. Its core practical function is to allocate financial responsibility for upgrades, thereby preventing disputes and ensuring both parties understand their obligations regarding future improvements.
