Common use of UPGRADES AND PATCHES Clause in Contracts

UPGRADES AND PATCHES. 10.1. Upgrades and patches are, as a rule, available under a separate and continuously valid fully paid maintenance agreement. 10.2. Upgrades and patches can also be made available to the Licensee at no additional cost. This decision is at the discretion of Worldsensing. 10.3. Worldsensing may, from time to time, announce the end-of-life (EOL) status of its products, including the Software or any associated components. Upon such an announcement, Worldsensing will provide written notice on the website, indicating the date when support, updates, and patches for the Software will cease. No new updates, security patches, or support will be provided after the EOL date. The Licensee and the authorized reseller acknowledge that the failure to upgrade or transition to a supported version of the Software may expose systems to security vulnerabilities, incompatibilities, or reduced performance. Worldsensing encourages the Licensee to evaluate available updates or alternative solutions to ensure continued security, functionality, and compliance.
