Use of attrition Sample Clauses

The "Use of attrition" clause defines how reductions in the number of participants or attendees are managed in a contractual agreement, typically for events or group bookings. It sets out the terms under which a party may decrease their commitment to a certain number of rooms, seats, or services without incurring full penalties, often specifying allowable percentages or deadlines for such reductions. This clause helps both parties manage expectations and financial risk by providing a clear framework for handling lower-than-expected attendance, thereby preventing disputes and ensuring fair compensation for lost revenue.

The request for arbitration shall be made in writing by either party to the other within seven days following the Board's findings. At the hearing before the arbitrator, argument may be presented orally or in writing, and each party may call such witnesses as it deems necessary.
