Use of Contractors and Subcontractors Sample Clauses
The "Use of Contractors and Subcontractors" clause defines the conditions under which a party may engage third parties to perform some or all of its contractual obligations. Typically, this clause outlines whether prior consent is required before hiring contractors or subcontractors, and may specify standards for their qualifications or conduct. For example, it might require the main party to remain responsible for the work performed by subcontractors or to ensure that subcontractors comply with the main contract's terms. The core function of this clause is to clarify the rights and responsibilities related to outsourcing work, thereby managing risk and ensuring accountability for all parties involved.
