Common use of Use of De-identified information Clause in Contracts

Use of De-identified information. De-identified information may be used by the Contractor for the purposes of development, research, and improvement of educational sites, services, or applications, as any other member of the public or party would be able to use de- identified data pursuant to 34 CFR 99.31(b). Contractor hereby provides notice to LEA that it shares de-identified information, solely for the purposes authorized in this Section, with third-party service providers. During the school year, Contractor may share de-identified information with other third- party consultants who, by contract with Contractor, provide research support to Contractor to improve Zearn Math. All such providers and consultants agree not to re-identify or attempt to re- identify de-identified information shared with it. Contractor agrees not to attempt to re-identify de- identified Student Data.
