Common use of Use of Explosives Clause in Contracts

Use of Explosives. Explosives shall not be used on the work by the contractor without the permission in writingof the Engineer and then only in the manner and to the extent to which he has prescribed.Where explosives are used, the same shall be stored in a special magazine to be providedby and at the cost of the Contractor, who shall be liable for all damages, loss or injury to any person or property & shall be responsible for complying with all the statutory obligations in these respects.
