If you use the Service or the Device outside of the United States or Canada, you will be solely responsible for any violations of local laws and regulations resulting from such use. We reserve the right to terminate your Service immediately if we determine, in our sole and absolute discretion, that you have used the Service or the Device outside of the United States or Canada.

You are welcome to use the service or device outside the USA and Canada and there is a strong likelihood that it will work inbound, However the reliability of Internet service and the willingness of Internet Service Providers in foreign countries to carry Voice over Internet Services varies tremendously from country to country and is subject to local laws. We will terminate services to foreign countries upon determination in our sole and absolute discretion that the ISP is blocking service or if we determine that, again, in our sole and absolute discretion that we are in violation of any local laws. We will continue to provide any service not affected by such laws and interruptions and will provide a full credit for time periods where we could not provide service. Furthermore, since you are resident in the foreign jurisdiction and we are not, we require that you hold us harmless for any judgements against us resulting from our provision of these services to you in that jurisdiction.

Three River Digital Cable, LLC makes no warranty express or implied regarding the performance function of the device if you attempt to use the service outside of the United States.

However, if the high-speed internet connection you are using is outside the United States and/or your ISP places restrictions on the usage of VoIP services, Services may not be available or may be degraded or otherwise inoperable. vPhone does not represent or warrant that use of the vPhone Service by you is permitted by any other jurisdictions or by any or all the ISPs. You will be solely responsible for any violations of local laws and regulations or violations of ISP terms of service resulting from such use. We reserve the right to disconnect your Service immediately if we determine, in our sole and absolute discretion, that you have used the Service or the Device in violation of laws of jurisdictions outside the U.S.

While we offer the option (at an additional fee above and beyond the standard monthly charges) to use the Service to place calls to other countries, UT&T does not presently offer or support the Service to customers located in other countries. If you remove the Device to a country other than the United States and use the Service from there, you do so at your own risk, including the risk that such activity violates local laws in the country where you do so. You are liable for any and all use of the Service and/or Device by any person making use of the Service or Device provided to you. Transport or sale of the Device outside of the United States may result in a violation of US or foreign technology import/export laws or rules; compliance with which is your sole responsibility.

If you remove the Device to a country other than the United States or use the Service from there, you do so at its own risk, including the risk that such activity violates local laws in the country where you do so. You will be solely responsible for any violations of local laws and regulations or violations of ISP terms of service resulting from such use. You also agree to indemnify us for any claims, damages or expenses resulting from your use of the Services outside of the United States. Public Telephone Company reserves the right to disconnect Services immediately if Public Telephone Company determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, that you have used the Service or the Device in violation of applicable laws, including without limitation laws of jurisdictions outside the United States. You are solely liable for any and all use of the Service and/or Device by any person making use of the Service or Device provided to you. Account Ownership. The owner of the account under which the Services are ordered shall be the legal entity (e.g., corporation, partnership, individual) that signs up for the Services with PUBLIC TELEPHONE COMPANY. If no legal entity is provided upon sign-up, the account owner shall be the owner of the credit card used to open such account, if applicable. Subsequent changes to ownership must be supported by appropriate legal documentation. PUBLIC TELEPHONE business dispute. If PUBLIC TELEPHONE COMPANY is unable to determine the valid owner of the account, PUBLIC TELEPHONE COMPANY reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account and Services. Unlimited Toll-Free Calling. Unlimited Toll-Free Calling is limited to receiving calls originating in the United States only.
Use of Service and Device by Customers Outside the United States. You may have noticed that the Device is portable and will likely work by connecting it to any high speed Internet connection in the world, although U.S. MetroTel does not guarantee same. While we encourage use of the Service within the United States to send and receive voice messages over the Internet from other countries, U.S. MetroTel does not presently offer or support the Service to customers where the “Device” is physically located in other countries. If you remove the Device to a country other than the United States and use the Service from there, you do so at your own risk. U.S. MetroTel has NOT done research and will not do so for other countries. Therefore, the risk that such activity violates local laws in the country where you do so is entirely upon the customer. You are liable for any and all use of the Service and/or Device by any person making use of the Service or Device provided to you.

Our service is designed to work generally with unencumbered high-speed internet connections. However, if the high-speed internet connection you are using is not within a MossyTel service area, or your ISP or broadband provider places restrictions on using VoIP services, we do not claim that they will allow you to use our service. You will be solely responsible for any violations of local laws and regulations or violations of ISP and broadband provider terms of service because of your use of our service. If you ship a device outside the United States for use in another country, you are solely responsible for determining and adhering to compliance with all applicable customs, import/export, regulatory, tax (including VAT) and other laws regarding the transport, distribution and use of such device and the service.

If you remove the Device to a country other than the United States and use the Service from there, you do so at your own risk, including the risk that such activity violates local laws in the country where you do so. You are liable for any and all use of the Service and/ or Device by any person making use of the Service or Device provided to you unless you have notified us in writing of the theft of your device. You are no longer liable for charges made on the device beginning 10 hours after you have notified us in writing of the theft of the device.

  • Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace City reserves the right to deny access to, or require Contractor to remove from, City facilities personnel of any Contractor or subcontractor who City has reasonable grounds to believe has engaged in alcohol abuse or illegal drug activity which in any way impairs City’s ability to maintain safe work facilities or to protect the health and well-being of City employees and the general public. City shall have the right of final approval for the entry or re-entry of any such person previously denied access to, or removed from, City facilities. Illegal drug activity means possessing, furnishing, selling, offering, purchasing, using or being under the influence of illegal drugs or other controlled substances for which the individual lacks a valid prescription. Alcohol abuse means possessing, furnishing, selling, offering, or using alcoholic beverages, or being under the influence of alcohol.

  • Protection of Customer Data The Supplier shall not delete or remove any proprietary notices contained within or relating to the Customer Data. The Supplier shall not store, copy, disclose, or use the Customer Data except as necessary for the performance by the Supplier of its obligations under this Call Off Contract or as otherwise Approved by the Customer. To the extent that the Customer Data is held and/or Processed by the Supplier, the Supplier shall supply that Customer Data to the Customer as requested by the Customer and in the format (if any) specified by the Customer in the Call Off Order Form and, in any event, as specified by the Customer from time to time in writing. The Supplier shall take responsibility for preserving the integrity of Customer Data and preventing the corruption or loss of Customer Data. The Supplier shall perform secure back-ups of all Customer Data and shall ensure that up-to-date back-ups are stored off-site at an Approved location in accordance with any BCDR Plan or otherwise. The Supplier shall ensure that such back-ups are available to the Customer (or to such other person as the Customer may direct) at all times upon request and are delivered to the Customer at no less than six (6) Monthly intervals (or such other intervals as may be agreed in writing between the Parties). The Supplier shall ensure that any system on which the Supplier holds any Customer Data, including back-up data, is a secure system that complies with the Security Policy and the Security Management Plan (if any). If at any time the Supplier suspects or has reason to believe that the Customer Data is corrupted, lost or sufficiently degraded in any way for any reason, then the Supplier shall notify the Customer immediately and inform the Customer of the remedial action the Supplier proposes to take. If the Customer Data is corrupted, lost or sufficiently degraded as a result of a Default so as to be unusable, the Supplier may: require the Supplier (at the Supplier's expense) to restore or procure the restoration of Customer Data to the extent and in accordance with the requirements specified in Call Off Schedule 8 (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery) or as otherwise required by the Customer, and the Supplier shall do so as soon as practicable but not later than five (5) Working Days from the date of receipt of the Customer’s notice; and/or itself restore or procure the restoration of Customer Data, and shall be repaid by the Supplier any reasonable expenses incurred in doing so to the extent and in accordance with the requirements specified in Call Off Schedule 8 (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery) or as otherwise required by the Customer.

  • Processing of Customer Personal Data 3.1 UKG will: 3.1.1 comply with all applicable Data Protection Laws in the Processing of Customer Personal Data; and 3.1.2 not Process Customer Personal Data other than for the purpose, and in accordance with, the relevant Customer’s instructions as documented in the Agreement and this DPA, unless Processing is required by the Data Protection Laws to which the relevant UKG Processor is subject, in which case UKG to the extent permitted by the Data Protection Laws, will inform Customer of that legal requirement before the Processing of that Customer Personal Data. 3.2 Customer hereby: 3.2.1 instructs UKG (and authorizes UKG to instruct each Subprocessor) to: (a) Process Customer Personal Data; and (b) in particular, transfer Customer Personal Data to any country or territory subject to the provisions of this DPA, in each case as reasonably necessary for the provision of the Services and consistent with the Agreement. 3.2.2 warrants and represents that it is and will at all relevant times remain duly and effectively authorized to give the instructions set out in Section 3.2.1 on behalf of each relevant Customer Affiliate; and 3.2.3 warrants and represents that it has all necessary rights in relation to the Customer Personal Data and/or has collected all necessary consents from Data Subjects to Process Customer Personal Data to the extent required by Applicable Law. 3.3 Schedule 1 to this DPA sets out certain information regarding UKG’s Processing of Customer Personal Data as required by Article 28(3) of the GDPR (and equivalent requirements of other Data Protection Laws).
