Use of the Venue. 7.1 You may only use the Venue in accordance with the description of the Event and/or Venue use provided by you to FCCCT. 7.2 You shall remove all goods and rubbish brought to the Venue at the end of the Event, and must leave all equipment, facilities, and the Venue in good, safe, clean, and tidy order, ready for use by FCCCT or other authorised user. 7.3 You shall ensure that all persons attending the Event, and that you, your employees, agents or contractors have vacated the Venue by the end of the Hire Period, If you are the last person to leave the Venue on any given day, you shall ensure that the Venue, including gate, is securely locked, and that the alarm is set. 7.4 The maximum number of people that can be admitted to your Event is governed by the room limits stated on the website (▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇.▇▇/rooms). You must ensure that the number of people in the Venue does not exceed the maximum number. You will be liable for any fines or costs that FCCCT may incur if the maximum number is exceeded. 7.5 In respect of the Venue, including the carpark and grounds, you must: 7.5.1 protect all floors, walls, and doors, including for example, during the installation and removal of any equipment, displays or exhibits; 7.5.2 take proper care of the Venue and ensure that no damage occurs; 7.5.3 not arrange to cut additional keys, or to share personal keys and alarm codes without permission from the FCCCT 7.5.4 not drive nails, tacks, screws or pins into walls, furnishings, floors and ceilings; 7.5.5 not write, decorate, attach posters, or disfigure any wall or ceiling surfaces; 7.5.6 not use any of the Venue’s equipment, fixtures, fittings, heating or ventilation systems other than for their intended purpose; 7.5.7 not leave or install any chattels, property or structures on the premises without permission from the FCCCT. 7.5.8 not deposit any substance in the toilets, sinks or drains that could cause blockage or damage; 7.5.9 not use or allow to be used in the Venue any form of lighting with a naked flame (including candles or oil burners); 7.5.10 not sell or consume alcohol at or outside the Venue unless you have obtained an appropriate liquor licence. If you are not sure whether you need a licence, you should check with the District Licensing Authority. Where liquor is provided, food and non-alcoholic drinks must also be provided; 7.5.11 not smoke anywhere inside the Centre building and entrance ways. Smoking is only permitted outside the Centre building, clear of any entrance ways, and must not be done near flammable substances or areas. Cigarette butts must be cleaned up. 7.6 If any damage is caused to the Venue or any, item of furniture, exhibit, fitting, fixture, or chattel within the Venue, you must immediately notify FCCCT or the Centre Manager of the damage, in order that FCCCT can arrange for the damage to be repaired; such repair to be at your cost in accordance with clause 6 of this Venue Hire Agreement. 7.7 From time to time the FCCCT will install works of art or crafts in the Venue that may or may not affect the layout of your function. The FCCCT will inform you of proposed artefacts or works of art as soon as they are confirmed. 7.8 At no time are works of art or crafts in the Venue to be altered, adjusted, or moved in any way during your function. You will be liable for all costs that may be incurred by the FCCCT because of damage or interference. 7.9 The use of the Centre’s tea, coffee, milk, and sugar is permitted, provided koha is made towards the cost.

Use of the Venue. 7.1 You may only use 1. The Hirer shall keep the Venue in accordance with clean and tidy and shall ensure that the description Venue is regularly litter picked during the event. The Hirer shall further ensure that the Council’s obligations under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 – Code of Practice on Litter and Refuse and any subsequential legislation are discharged.
2. All litter and refuse generated by the Event shall be removed from the Venue by the Hirer.
3. The Hirer must at all times take good care of the Event and/or Venue use provided by you to FCCCT.
7.2 You shall remove all goods and rubbish brought will be responsible for any damage to the Venue or any part of it or any equipment or other property of the Council whether forming part of the hire or not.
4. The property of the Hirer and the Hirer’s agents must be removed at the end of the Event, and must leave all equipment, facilities, and period of hire. The Council accepts no responsibility for any property left on the Venue in goodbefore, safe, clean, and tidy order, ready for use by FCCCT during or other authorised userafter the hire period.
7.3 You 5. If the Hirer fails to perform any of its obligations set out in Clauses 1-3, above the Council reserves the right to perform any such obligations and any costs incurred by the Council in the performance of such obligations shall ensure that all persons attending be borne by the EventHirer.
6. The Hirer is responsible for the administration, organisation and that yourunning of the Event and for having sufficient stewards and officials to fulfil these Conditions.
7. The Hirer is responsible for the supervision and control of Event participants, your employeesofficials, agents visitors and spectators.
8. The Hirer shall not be permitted to remove or contractors have vacated obscure Council notices or placards displayed on the Venue by without the end prior written consent of the Hire Period, If you are Council.
9. Where it has been necessary to make a road closure order the last person to leave the Venue on any given day, you Hirer shall ensure that the road closure equipment is not moved and shall maintain the integrity of the closure.
10. The Hirer shall not interfere with or attach anything to any item of street furniture or parks furniture.
11. The Hirer shall not excavate or drill pinning holes into the venue. 12.The Hirer shall ensure that any unwanted liquids are removed from the Venue and not disposed of into the sewage system or on the Venue, including gate, is securely locked.
13. The Hirer shall ensure that no vehicles are parked or driven across the Parade.
14. The Hirer shall ensure that pedestrians are allowed unrestricted access along any public footpath located within the Venues.
15. The Hirer shall not interfere with or make any alteration to the layout or arrangement of the Venue without the prior written consent of the Council.
16. Where the Council has agreed that the Venue shall be used for a fun fair then the Hirer shall supply full details of all side shows and rides prior to the due date and shall comply with and ensure that the operators of the rides comply with the guidance given in the publication Fairgrounds and Amusement Parks – Guidance on Safe Practice published by the Health and Safety Executive, and that the alarm is setall other statutory requirements.
7.4 17. The maximum number Hirer shall ensure that no noise nuisance shall be caused to occupiers of people that can be admitted properties surrounding the Venue or users of the immediate surrounding area of the Venue.
18. For events which finish late evening, the clearing up period must not extend beyond 10 am the following day.
19. 20. The Hirer reserves the right not allow at the Event any exhibition, performance or entertainment in which animals are or might be involved.
21. The Hirer will not permit the operation or release of any high-flying object without the prior written consent of the Council, the Civil Aviation Authority and the Police.
▇▇. ▇▇ is the responsibility of the Hirer to liaise with Cornwall Council and the Police regarding the impact the Event may have on traffic arrangements in the Venue does not exceed the maximum number. You will be liable for any fines or costs that FCCCT may incur if the maximum number is exceeded.

7.5.8 not deposit any substance in the toilets, sinks or drains that could cause blockage or damage;
7.5.9 not use or allow is to be used in the dark then he will provide appropriate lighting to cover all areas to which the public are admitted or have access.
24. The Hirer shall not bring into the Venue any form article of an inflammable or explosive character or that produces an offensive smell, or CFC or any oil, electrical, gas or other apparatus without the written approval of the Council.
25. The Hirer shall obtain approval from the Council for the use of generators at the Event. If such approval shall be granted the Hirer must ensure that any generators permitted at the event are operated in a safe manner and are segregated from the public or are protected by suitable covers or barrier, so as to prevent access by members of the public.
26. The Hirer shall not bring, place or erect any sign furniture, fitting or structure nor place or fix any additional or decorative lighting with a naked flame (including candles in or oil burners);
7.5.10 not sell or consume alcohol at or outside on any parts of the Venue unless you have obtained an appropriate liquor licencewithout the prior written consent of the Council.
27. If you are not sure whether you need a licence, you should check with the District Licensing Authority. Where liquor is provided, food and non-alcoholic drinks must also be provided;
7.5.11 not smoke anywhere inside the Centre building and entrance ways. Smoking is only permitted outside the Centre building, clear The use of any entrance ways, public address system at the Event must be first agreed in writing by Cornwall Council and must be operated so as not be done near flammable substances or areasto cause a noise nuisance in breach of clause number 17. Cigarette butts Any necessary licences must be cleaned upobtained by the Hirer.
7.6 If any damage is caused 28. The Hirer shall repay to the Venue Council on demand the cost, of reinstating, repairing or any, item replacing or cleansing any part of furniture, exhibit, fitting, fixture, or chattel within the Venue, you must immediately notify FCCCT or the Centre Manager of the damage, in order that FCCCT can arrange for the damage to be repaired; such repair to be at your cost in accordance with clause 6 of this Venue Hire Agreement.
7.7 From time to time the FCCCT will install works of art or crafts property in the Venue that may if damaged, destroyed, stolen or may not affect removed prior to, during or subsequent to the period of hire if related to or by reason of the hiring. The Council’s valuation of any damage/loss is final.
29. Use of the Council’s land is also subject to the prior agreement in writing from the Council about the layout and position of your function. The FCCCT will inform you of proposed artefacts or works of art as soon as they are confirmedeach event.
7.8 At no time are works ▇▇. ▇▇ admission charge can be made without prior written consent of art or crafts in the Venue to be alteredCouncil, adjusted, or moved in any way during your function. 5. The Hirer must ensure that a parent or designated care giver, who is at least 18 years of age accompanies children under 10 years of age especially outside (note location is on the Porirua Harbour)
6. No animals are permitted on the premises other than Guide Dogs for the visually impaired
7. The Hirer should ensure that noise levels are not exceeded during the Hire Period
8. The Mana Cruising Club has zero tolerance for any forms of violence. We reserve the right to call the Police and close down the bar if required.
9. No food is to be bought onto the premises with the description exception of the Event and/or Venue use provided by you to FCCCT.celebratory cakes
