UUT Vibration Processing Sample Clauses

UUT Vibration Processing. The contractor shall process all UUT vibration measurements providing channels for both broadband measurement and amplitude at bearing and gear mesh frequencies for all UUT vibration transducers. In addition, the software shall provide both time-domain and frequency domain (FFT) displays of all UUT Vibration Channels in real-time. The software shall have the capability of recording the time domain signal (without degradation) to file for a selected period of time, the data shall be exportable to both Excel Compatible and coma separated variable (CSV) text files. The Government will provide fault frequency information upon award (anticipate 60 fault frequencies monitored). Replace Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Software 3.8.1. Allowable Amount of Code Re-use, PLC It is the intent of this effort to completely replace the software in the PLC. However, the Government recognizes that in some circumstances it may not be expedient to perform the same tasks in different ways. With that in mind, no more than 10% of the PLC program may be reused. No more than 20% of the “tags” shall have the same name/configuration (not counting channel names defined in the test pubs or elsewhere in the specification). The Government does not intend to provide the contractor the existing PLC code. 3.8.2. Limits on PLC Contents The PLC shall be used for low level system control. The PLC system shall maintain and achieve set points provided by the Host Computer, but not generate set points (except for emergency operation). The PLC is responsible for all safety interlocks and emergency operation. The PLC shall not contain programming of the actual test sequence, storage of calibration coefficients (but may load them from an external source), pass/fail values or determinations. 3.8.3. PLC Allowable Programming Languages The programming environments shall be the latest development versions of Rockwell Software's RsLogix (Studio Logix Designer) and RsView (if a touch screen in employed) in accordance with Rockwell Autoamtion Style Guidelines (see ¶3.65.2). 3.8.4. PLC to Remain in Control upon Subsystem Failures In a system that uses PLC and Human Machine Interface (HMI) (including Host Computers) during machine operation, the PLC shall always be in control of all processes. If the PLC loses communication with the HMI, the machine will fall into a safe situation, such as standby if the stand is not operating or perform a safe and orderly shutdown if the stand is operating, and the pro...
