Validity; Severability. If any provision of the Contract is held to be invalid, such event shall not affect, in any respect whatsoever, the validity of the remainder of the Contract, and the remainder shall be construed without the invalid provision so as to carry out the intent of the parties to the extent possible without the invalid provision.
