Variable Compensation Plans Sample Clauses

A Variable Compensation Plans clause defines the terms under which employees may receive additional, performance-based pay beyond their base salary. This clause typically outlines the criteria for earning variable compensation, such as meeting sales targets, achieving project milestones, or other measurable objectives, and may specify the calculation methods and payment schedules. Its core practical function is to incentivize employees to achieve specific goals by linking a portion of their compensation to their performance, thereby aligning employee efforts with organizational objectives.
