Variation from Contract Documents. If the submittals show variations from the requirements of the Contract Documents, the Contractor shall specifically and clearly identify the variations in its letter of transmittal. 6.20.3.1 Variations whichthat may affect the construction quality, cost or timeline shall be submitted by the A/E to the Contracting Authority for review, and if approved, shall be incorporated into the Work by Change Order. 6.20.3.2 The Contractor shall not be relieved of responsibility for deviations from the Contract Documents by the A/E’s approval of submittals.
