Common use of Verification Clause in Contracts

Verification. 1. If Contractor has employees, Contractor has confirmed the employment eligibility of all employees who are newly hired to perform work under this Agreement through participation in either the E-Verify Program or the Department Program. 2. Contractor shall not use the E-Verify Program or Department Program procedures to undertake pre-employment screening of job applicants while this Agreement is being performed. 3. If Contractor obtains actual knowledge that a subcontractor performing work under this Agreement knowingly employs or contracts with an illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement, Contractor shall: notify the subcontractor and the Town within 3 days that Contractor has actual knowledge that the subcontractor is employing or contracting with an illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement; and terminate the subcontract with the subcontractor if within 3 days of receiving the notice required pursuant to subsection 1 hereof, the subcontractor does not stop employing or contracting with the illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement; except that Contractor shall not terminate the subcontract if during such 3 days the subcontractor provides information to establish that the subcontractor has not knowingly employed or contracted with an illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement.

Verification. 1. If Contractor Consultant has employees, Contractor Consultant has confirmed the employment eligibility of all employees who are newly hired to perform work under this Agreement through participation in either the E-Verify Program or the Department Program. 2. Contractor Consultant shall not use the E-Verify Program or Department Program procedures to undertake pre-employment screening of job applicants while this Agreement is being performed. 3. If Contractor Consultant obtains actual knowledge that a subcontractor performing work under this Agreement knowingly employs or contracts with an illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement, Contractor Consultant shall: notify the subcontractor and the Town County within 3 three (3) days that Contractor Consultant has actual knowledge that the subcontractor is employing or contracting with an illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement; and terminate the subcontract with the subcontractor if within 3 three (3) days of receiving the notice required pursuant to subsection 1 hereof, the subcontractor does not stop employing or contracting with the illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement; except that Contractor Consultant shall not terminate the subcontract if during such 3 three (3) days the subcontractor provides information to establish that the subcontractor has not knowingly employed or contracted with an illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement.

If Contractor has employees, Contractor has confirmed or attempted to confirm the employment eligibility of all employees who are newly hired for employment to perform work under this Agreement Contract through participation in either the E-Verify Program or the Department Program. 2. Contractor shall not use the E-Verify Program or Department Program procedures to undertake pre-employment screening of job applicants while this Agreement Contract is being performed. 3. If Contractor obtains actual knowledge that a subcontractor performing work under this Agreement Contract knowingly employs or contracts with an illegal alien who is performing work under this AgreementContract, Contractor shall: notify the subcontractor and the Town within 3 days that Contractor has actual knowledge that the subcontractor is employing or contracting with an illegal alien who is performing work under this AgreementContract; and terminate the subcontract with the subcontractor if within 3 days of receiving the notice required pursuant to subsection 1 a hereof, the subcontractor does not stop employing or contracting with the illegal alien who is performing work under this AgreementContract; except that Contractor shall not terminate the subcontract contract with the subcontractor if during such 3 days the subcontractor provides information to establish that the subcontractor has not knowingly employed or contracted with an illegal alien who is performing work under this AgreementContract.

If Contractor obtains actual knowledge that a subcontractor performing work under this Agreement Construction Contract knowingly employs or contracts with an illegal alien who is performing work under this AgreementConstruction Contract, Contractor shall: notify the subcontractor and the Town within 3 days that Contractor has actual knowledge that the subcontractor is employing or contracting with an illegal alien who is performing work under this AgreementConstruction Contract; and terminate the subcontract with the subcontractor if within 3 days of receiving the notice required pursuant to subsection 1 hereof, the subcontractor does not stop employing or contracting with the illegal alien who is performing work under this AgreementConstruction Contract; except that Contractor shall not terminate the subcontract if during such 3 days the subcontractor provides information to establish that the subcontractor has not knowingly employed or contracted with an illegal alien who is performing work under this AgreementConstruction Contract.

Terminate the subcontract with the subcontractor if within 3 three (3) days of receiving the notice required pursuant to subsection 1 subparagraph (a) hereof, the subcontractor does not stop employing or contracting with the illegal alien who is performing work under this the Agreement; except that Contractor shall not terminate the subcontract contract with the subcontractor if during such 3 three (3) days the subcontractor provides information to establish that the subcontractor has not knowingly employed or contracted with an illegal alien who is performing work under this the Agreement.

If Contractor Consultant obtains actual knowledge that a subcontractor performing work under this Agreement knowingly employs or contracts with an illegal alien who is performing work w ork under this Agreement, Contractor Consultant shall: notify the subcontractor and the Town within 3 days that Contractor Consultant has actual knowledge that the subcontractor is employing or contracting with an illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement; and terminate the subcontract with the subcontractor if within 3 days of receiving the notice required pursuant to subsection 1 hereof, the subcontractor does not stop employing or contracting with the illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement; except that Contractor Consultant shall not terminate the subcontract if during such 3 days the subcontractor provides information to establish that the subcontractor has not knowingly employed or contracted with an illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement.

If Contractor obtains actual knowledge that a subcontractor performing work under this Agreement Construction Contract knowingly employs or contracts with an illegal alien who is performing work under this AgreementConstruction Contract, Contractor shall: notify the subcontractor and the Town within 3 days that Contractor has actual knowledge that the subcontractor is employing or contracting with an illegal alien who is performing work under this AgreementConstruction Contract; and terminate the subcontract with the subcontractor if within 3 days of receiving the notice required pursuant to subsection 1 hereof, the subcontractor does not stop employing or contracting with the illegal alien who is performing work under this AgreementConstruction Contract; except that Contractor shall not terminate the subcontract if during such 3 days the subcontractor provides information to establish that the subcontractor has not knowingly employed or contracted with an illegal alien who is performing work under this AgreementConstruction Contract.

(2. Contractor ) CONTRACTOR shall not use the E-Verify Program or the Department Program procedures to undertake pre-employment screening of job applicants while this Agreement is being performed. (3. ) If Contractor CONTRACTOR obtains actual knowledge that a subcontractor performing work under this Agreement knowingly employs or contracts with an illegal alien who is performing work under this the Agreement, Contractor CONTRACTOR shall: notify : a. Notify the subcontractor and the Town County within 3 three (3) days that Contractor CONTRACTOR has actual knowledge that the subcontractor is employing or contracting with an illegal alien who is performing work under this the Agreement; and terminate and b. Terminate the subcontract with the subcontractor if within 3 three (3) days of receiving the notice required pursuant to subsection 1 subparagraph (a) hereof, the subcontractor does not stop employing or contracting with the illegal alien who is performing work under this the Agreement; except that Contractor CONTRACTOR shall not terminate the subcontract contract with the subcontractor if during such 3 three (3) days the subcontractor provides information to establish that the subcontractor has not knowingly employed or contracted with an illegal alien who is performing work under this the Agreement.

If Contractor Consultant obtains actual knowledge that a subcontractor performing work under this Agreement knowingly employs or contracts with an illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement, Contractor Consultant shall: notify the subcontractor and the Town within 3 days that Contractor Consultant has actual knowledge that the subcontractor is employing or contracting with an illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement; and terminate the subcontract with the subcontractor if within 3 days of receiving the notice required pursuant to subsection 1 hereof, the subcontractor does not stop employing or contracting with the illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement; except that Contractor Consultant shall not terminate the subcontract if during such 3 days the subcontractor provides information to establish that the subcontractor has not knowingly employed or contracted with an illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement.

If Contractor Seller has employees, Contractor Seller has confirmed the employment eligibility of all employees who are newly hired to perform work under this Agreement through participation in either the E-Verify E‐Verify Program or the Department Program. 2. Contractor Seller shall not use the E-Verify E‐Verify Program or Department Program procedures to undertake pre-employment pre‐employment screening of job applicants while this Agreement is being performed. 3. If Contractor Seller obtains actual knowledge that a subcontractor performing work under this Agreement knowingly employs or contracts with an illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement, Contractor Seller shall: notify the subcontractor and the Town District within 3 days that Contractor Seller has actual knowledge that the subcontractor is employing or contracting with an illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement; and terminate the subcontract with the subcontractor if within 3 days of receiving the notice required pursuant to subsection 1 hereof, the subcontractor does not stop employing or contracting with the illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement; except that Contractor Seller shall not terminate the subcontract if during such 3 days the subcontractor provides information to establish that the subcontractor has not knowingly employed or contracted with an illegal alien who is performing work under this Agreement.

Terminate the subcontract with the subcontractor if within 3 three (3) days of receiving the notice required pursuant to subsection 1 subparagraph (a) hereof, the subcontractor does not stop employing or contracting with the illegal alien who is performing work under this the Agreement; except that Contractor Consultant shall not terminate the subcontract contract with the subcontractor if during such 3 three (3) days the subcontractor provides information to establish that the subcontractor has not knowingly employed or contracted with an illegal alien who is performing work under this the Agreement.

Verification. 1. If Contractor has employees, a. Contractor has confirmed the employment eligibility of all employees who are newly hired for employment to perform work under this Agreement through participation in either the E-Verify Program or the Department Program. 2. b. Contractor shall not use the E-Verify Program or the Department Program procedures to undertake pre-employment screening of job applicants while this Agreement is being performed. 3. c. If Contractor obtains actual knowledge that a subcontractor performing work under this Agreement knowingly employs or contracts with an illegal alien who is performing work under this the Agreement, Contractor shall: notify : i. Notify the subcontractor and the Town LIFT within 3 three (3) days that Contractor has actual knowledge that the subcontractor is employing or contracting with an illegal alien who is performing work under this the Agreement; and terminate and ii. Terminate the subcontract with the subcontractor if within 3 three (3) days of receiving the notice required pursuant to subsection 1 subparagraph (a) hereof, the subcontractor does not stop employing or contracting with the illegal alien who is performing work under this the Agreement; except that Contractor shall not terminate the subcontract contract with the subcontractor if during such 3 three (3) days the subcontractor provides information to establish that the subcontractor has not knowingly employed or contracted with an illegal alien who is performing work under this the Agreement.

Terminate the subcontract with the subcontractor if within 3 three (3) days of receiving the notice required pursuant to subsection 1 subparagraph (a) hereof, the subcontractor does not stop employing or contracting with the illegal alien who is performing work under this the Agreement; except that Contractor shall not terminate the subcontract contract with the subcontractor if during such 3 three (3) days the subcontractor provides information to establish that the subcontractor has not knowingly employed or contracted with an illegal alien who is performing work under this the Agreement.

Terminate the subcontract with the subcontractor if within 3 three (3) days of receiving the notice required pursuant to subsection 1 subparagraph (a) hereof, the subcontractor does not stop employing or contracting with the illegal alien who is performing work under this the Agreement; except that Contractor shall not terminate the subcontract contract with the subcontractor if during such 3 three (3) days the subcontractor provides information to establish that the subcontractor has not knowingly employed or contracted with an illegal alien who is performing work under this the Agreement.
