Violations of Rules and Regulations. The Contractor agrees to pay, on behalf of the County, any Damage, assessment or fine issued against the County, or the Department to defend in the name of the County any claim, assessment or civil action, which may be presented or initiated by any agency or officer of the federal, State or County governments based in whole or substantial part upon a claim or allegation that the Contractor, its agents, employees, or invitees, have violated any law, ordinance, regulation or rule described in Sub-Article 27.A "Rules and Regulations" or any plan or program developed in compliance therewith.
