Common use of Visual Alarms Clause in Contracts

Visual Alarms. For the period of time that a resident who is deaf or hard of hearing is receiving services from a YSI facility, YSI shall ensure that visual alarms complying with the standards set forth in sections 4.1.3(14) and 4.28 of the Standards for Accessible Design, 28 C.F.R. pt. 36, app. A, are provided for that resident, at a minimum, in the resident’s room, dining area, living quarters, toilet room, classroom, and recreation area.

Visual Alarms. For the period of time that a resident who is deaf or hard of hearing is receiving services from a YSI facility, YSI shall will ensure that visual alarms complying with the standards set forth in sections 4.1.3(14) and 4.28 of the Standards for Accessible Design, 28 C.F.R. pt. 36, app. A, are provided for that residentresident in appropriate places throughout the YSI facility where the resident is likely to be at any given time, to the extent not already installed at a minimum, in the resident’s room, dining area, living quarters, toilet room, classroom, and recreation areafacility.
