VOLUNTARY MEASURES. As described in Section 6.0 of the SHA/CCAA Agreement, Neighboring Landowners and Neighboring Landowner Agreements, habitat management actions and monitoring are not required on neighboring lands. However, some neighboring landowners may wish to voluntarily provide the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP) access to their property or voluntarily participate in habitat management actions to further benefit the covered species.

Any agreement on voluntary measures must contain the measures most appropriate to put an end to and prevent the recurrence of the situation in which the security or development of the child is in danger. The director must refer the child’s situation to the tribunal if no agreement is reached within 10 days and the security or development of the child remains in danger.
VOLUNTARY MEASURES. The Parties will consider and move forward voluntary measures for immediate implementation. Measures may include, but are not limited to: o Multi-benefit land repurposing (e.g., recharge basins, renewable energy including solar, habitat, recreational spaces, pollinator habitat, etc.) o Incentivized land use changes that provide net groundwater benefit o Dry-land farming o Fallowing o Water conservation (focusing on activities to reduce consumptive use and groundwater extraction) o Encouraging use of all available surface water in lieu of groundwater pumping o On-farm best management practices (agronomic practices, soil moisture monitoring and management, delayed irrigation and/or regulated deficit irrigation, runoff capture, etc. to reduce groundwater extraction)

  • Protective Measures We have implemented and will maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures in relation to the Services taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation, and the nature, scope, context and purposes of Processing, as well as the likelihood and severity of risk to the rights and freedoms of data subjects. This includes measures relating to the physical security of Our facilities used to deliver them, measures to control access rights to Our assets and relevant networks, and processes for testing these measures. In accordance with Our obligations under applicable law, We may undertake digital forensic investigations in relation to the use of the Services and Subscriptions. You are responsible for using, and ensuring that your Users use, the controls and advice provided by the Services correctly and consistently.

  • Disciplinary Measures 29.01 The Parties shall make every reasonable effort to encourage informal consultation and investigation of allegations, with a view to resolving the matter without formal disciplinary action being initiated. Further, (A) A member may be disciplined only for just cause. (B) Medical disability shall not be cause for disciplinary actions. (C) A criminal charge or conviction is not necessarily grounds for discipline or dismissal. 29.02 Disciplinary actions that may be taken pursuant to this article by the Board include, but are not limited to, the following: (A) a letter of warning or reprimand; (B) suspension with pay; (C) suspension without pay; (D) dismissal for cause. In this Article, suspension refers to the act of the Board in relieving a member of some or all University duties for cause without his/her consent for a specified period of time; dismissal for cause refers to the termination of an appointment by the Board without the consent of the member. Any disciplinary action shall be commensurate with the seriousness of the violation. At any meeting to consider any matter pertaining to the disciplinary action, the member must be notified in advance that such meeting pertains to disciplinary matters and the member has the right to be accompanied by an Association representative and/or legal counsel designated by the Association. 29.03 Actions pursuant to 29.02 shall be clearly identified in writing as being disciplinary and a clear statement of the reasons for the action taken by the Board shall be sent by registered mail to the member’s last known address or delivered by hand. Where disciplinary action is being taken by the Board, the Board shall supply the Association with the name of the member concerned. 29.04 All disciplinary action shall be initiated within 20 days of the date the Board knew, or ought reasonably to have known, of the matter giving rise to the discipline.

  • General Measures Employees experiencing family violence have a right to request flexible working arrangements including changes to working times. Such requests will not be unreasonably refused.

  • Emergency Measures Additional measures and/or other special requirements necessary during periods of critical fire-weather conditions shall be included in the fire prevention and presuppression plan.

  • Safeguard Measures Neither Party shall take safeguard action against services and service suppliers of the other Party from the date of entry into force of this Agreement. Neither Party shall initiate or continue any safeguard investigations in respect of services and service suppliers of the other Party.
