Common use of Voluntary Option Clause in Contracts

Voluntary Option. An excess employee will not be retrenched involuntarily if: a) the employee has not been invited to elect to be terminated under s29 of the Public Service Act 1999. b) the employee has made such an election and the Secretary refuses to approve it.
