Common use of Voluntary Termination by the Authority Clause in Contracts

Voluntary Termination by the Authority. 29.1.1 The Authority may terminate this Agreement at any time on or before the Expiry Date by complying with its obligations under clauses 29.1.2 (Voluntary Termination by the Authority). 29.1.2 If the Authority wishes to terminate this Agreement under this clause 29.1.2 (Voluntary Termination by the Authority), it must give a Termination Notice to the Contractor stating:- (a) that the Authority is terminating this Agreement under this clause 29.1 (Voluntary Termination by the Authority); (b) that this Agreement will terminate on the date falling twenty (20) Working Days after the date of receipt of the notice; and (c) whether the Authority has chosen to exercise its option under clause 39 (Assets). 29.1.3 This Agreement will terminate on the date falling twenty (20) Working Days after the date of receipt of the Termination Notice referred to in clause 29.1.2 (Voluntary Termination by the Authority) above.

Voluntary Termination by the Authority. 29.1.1 The 24.1.1 Subject to clause 24.1.4 the Authority may terminate this Agreement at any time on or before the Expiry Date by complying with its obligations under clauses 29.1.2 this clause 24.1 (Voluntary Termination by the Authority). 29.1.2 24.1.2 If the Authority wishes to terminate this Agreement under this clause 29.1.2 24.1.2 (Voluntary Termination by the Authority), it must give a Termination Notice to the Contractor Operator stating:- (a) that the Authority is terminating this Agreement under this clause 29.1 24.1 (Voluntary Termination by the Authority); (b) that this Agreement will terminate on the date falling twenty three (203) Working Days months after the date of receipt of the notice; and (c) whether the Authority has chosen to exercise its option under clause 39 30.2 (Operator Assets). 29.1.3 24.1.3 This Agreement will terminate on the date falling twenty three (203) Working Days months after the date of receipt of the Termination Notice referred to in clause 29.1.2 24.1.2 (Voluntary Termination by the Authority) above. 24.1.4 For the avoidance of doubt the Authority is not permitted to terminate this Agreement under this clause 24.1 for a period of twelve (12) months from the Commencement Date.
