Voluntary Transfer Procedures. Each employee shall have five (5) minutes to select a voluntary transfer assignment. If an employee will not be present, she or he can leave five (5) choices of assignment on the prescribed form or designate in writing a Local 200 representative to select her/him. If no choices have been made known, the following procedures will govern assignments:
a. The employee will be assigned to the same assignment as occupied before the sign-up if that assignment is still open.
b. The employee will be assigned the most similar available assignment in the same group with similar hours and days off.
c. The employee will be assigned to another group for which the employee is qualified with similar hours and days off.
d. The employee will be assigned to the group where now working but to a shift with different hours and/or days off.
e. The employee will be assigned by Management to any open position for which the employee is qualified, preferably with similar type of equipment.
Voluntary Transfer Procedures. The following procedures are intended to insure that transfer requests are considered along with other applications when additional staff is to be hired at a site.
2.1 Requests for transfer shall be submitted to the site administrator in writing using a District form or by resume. Such requests shall remain on file at the requested location for one (1) calendar year, but may be renewed at the request of the employee.
2.2 When the site administrator has decided to assign additional TA hours to employees not already at the site, the site administrator (or designee) shall, before making a final selection, interview at least three (3) of the qualified Teacher Assistants with a transfer request on file at the site (unless fewer than three requests have been filed). Priority for the required three transfer interviews shall be given to qualified TAs who have identified themselves on their applications as having been laid off from a position at another location. The administrator may also consider and interview applicants from sources other than transfer applicants. The assignment may be filled on a temporary basis pending the interviews and final selection.
2.3 The sole remedy for any grievance filed under Section 2.1 or 2.2 shall be suspension of the assignment while the school conducts the required consideration of applicants.
Voluntary Transfer Procedures. Voluntary transfers may be arranged between the employee and the administrator of the work location to which the transfer is desired. The employee shall give ten (10) working days notice of his/her intent to transfer to the current administrator. Following the approval of the request and the notice period, the transfer shall be effected.

When a new position is created or an existing position becomes vacant, the position will first be opened to current permanent unit members to apply for transfer to that position. A unit member may apply for a transfer by submitting a written request to the Human Resources department.
24.3.2. The position shall be posted for not less than five (5) days at work locations. A copy shall be furnished to SEIU.
24.3.3. All permanent unit members who submit a written request by the application deadline will be granted an interview.
24.3.4. The District will make the final determination to approve the transfer request or to recruit outside the District for the position.

Voluntary Transfer Procedures. A. Interested ESPs may apply in writing to the Superintendent, or designee, within the seven day posting period.
B. Interviews shall be granted to at least three most senior qualified applicants in addition to other internal and external applicants selected by the administration. Qualified shall mean that the applicant meets the qualifications/requirements as stated in the job description. The vacancy shall be filled from those interviewed.
Voluntary Transfer Procedures. 2.1 Voluntary transfers for non-benefited employees in Category I job classifications may be arranged between the employee and the administrator of the work location to which the transfer is desired. Following the approval of the request, the transfer shall be effected. When a transfer request is received by the Personnel Commission which transfer has not been pre-arranged as described immediately above, the employee will be contacted and advised of the steps to follow and given available information concerning locations and vacancies.
2.2 Requests for voluntary transfers, except for those referred to in 2.1 above, shall be submitted to, and acknowledged with a signature by, the site administrator, and forwarded to the Personnel Commission. The request shall remain on file with the Classified Employment Transaction Services Branch for two (2) years.
2.3 For Category I job classifications, part-time benefited vacancies shall be filled either from employees who have filed transfer requests or in accordance with the 06-07-16 F: DATA: CONTRACT UNIT B 2014-2017: ART XI Staffing Procedures set forth in Section 4.0 through 4.5. Full-time vacancies shall be first offered in seniority order to those employees who have filed transfer requests.
2.4 For Category II job classifications, transfer may be arranged between the employee and the administrator of the work location to which the transfer is desired. In addition, transfer requests shall be considered together with eligibility lists and reinstatement requests when filling vacancies. When vacancies occur, the names of those employees who have transfer requests on file with the Personnel Commission shall be certified to the appointing authority together with other eligible candidates. If interviewed and rejected for appointment to a vacancy, the employee may request to know the reason(s) for the rejection. In addition to the procedures described in the preceding paragraph, Category II employees may specify up to three (3) schools to which they would like to transfer. The Personnel Commission will then forward a copy of the transfer request to each school so specified.

Voluntary Transfer Procedures. 16.3.1 A unit member may request a transfer in response to an advertised vacancy.
16.3.2 A request for transfer shall be made on the appropriate YCOE form and submitted no later than the closing date for application.
16.3.3 Voluntary transfer shall be based on the educational needs of the YCOE Head Start, proper permits, evaluations, and experience. All of the above being equal, seniority shall prevail.
