Wage Overpayments. If there is an overpayment of gross pay it shall be corrected in the employee’s next paycheck.

Wage Overpayments. (a) On occasion, due to clerical or accounting oversight, employees are paid wages not due them. In such instances the Employer shall retrieve such overpayments, irrespective of when they were made, in accordance with the Wage and Hour Division Regulations. The current Wage and Hour rate is fifteen (15%) percent.

Overpayments in wages resulting from Consumer/Employer or provider error shall be repaid at no more than five percent (5%) of the Employee’s pay that is based on hours paid until repaid in full. If the Employee leaves his/her employment as a Homecare Worker before the overpayment has been fully recovered, the remaining maximum amount may be deducted from the Employee’s final check(s). Section 2. An Employee who disagrees with the determination that an overpayment has been made may grieve the determination through the grievance procedure.
Wage Overpayments. 1. If it has been discovered that an overpayment or an unauthorized payment has been made to a City employee, it is the responsibility of the department to notify the employee in writing and supply the employee with the documentation used to determine the overpayment. 2. If the employee contends that any portion or the entire amount is not owed, the employee may request a meeting with the Appointing Authority to attempt to resolve the disagreement. If the dispute about the payment originates in another department, the employee has a right to request a meeting with the Appointing Authority in that department. The employee may have a representative attend the meeting or meetings with him or her. 3. If the dispute regarding overpayment arises from the interpretation of a Personnel or Administrative Regulation, the employee may grieve this matter directly to the Department Head.
Wage Overpayments. The CEO/Superintendent hereby agrees that Manara Academy may deduct any wage overpayments under this Contract from one or more of the CEO/Superintendent's paychecks.
Wage Overpayments. In the event that an associate is overpaid, the associate shall repay the overpayment over the same period of time for which the associate was overpaid with the overpayment issue resolved in the calendar year of the overpayment to the extent feasible. As an example, if an associate is overpaid in only one pay period, the associate will repay the full amount in one pay period. Similarly, if the overpayment extends over two months, the associate will have two months to repay the overpaid amount due to the Company.

  • Overpayments Contractor promptly shall refund to Purchaser the full amount of any erroneous payment or overpayment. Such refunds shall occur within thirty (30) calendar days of written notice to Contractor; Provided, however, that Purchaser shall have the right to elect to have either direct payments or written credit memos issued. If Contractor fails to make timely refunds of overpayment(s) (either directly or by credit memo), Contractor shall pay Purchaser interest at the rate of one percent (1%) per month on the amount overdue thirty (30) calendar days after notice to Contractor.

The amount of the overpayment; 2. The basis for the claim; and 3. The rights of the employee under the terms of this Agreement.
