Waiver of Evidence; Statement in Lieu of Evidence Sample Clauses

The "Waiver of Evidence; Statement in Lieu of Evidence" clause allows parties to agree that formal evidence, such as documents or witness testimony, is not required to prove certain facts or obligations under the contract. Instead, a written statement or declaration by a party may be accepted as sufficient proof for those matters. This clause streamlines dispute resolution or administrative processes by reducing the need for extensive evidence gathering, thereby saving time and resources. Its core function is to simplify procedures and avoid unnecessary formalities when establishing agreed-upon facts.
