Common use of Warranty Extension Clause in Contracts

Warranty Extension. The Powertrain Limited Warranty for the Class Vehicles will be extended to a period of 7 years or 100,000 miles (whichever occurs first) from the In-Service Date of the Class Vehicle. The Extended Warranty will cover the cost of all parts and labor needed to repair a condition caused by the Oil Consumption Defect in the Class Vehicles, including the replacement of the engine long block if your vehicle is found to have failed an oil consumption test after all applicable CSNs have been performed. Except for the durational limits, the terms, conditions, and exclusions of the Powertrain Limited Warranty applicable to the Class Vehicles shall apply. You do NOT need to submit a Claim Form to receive this Extended Warranty.
